Richmond is a great city and we want to keep it clean. Volunteer with us at The Great Big Cleanup on Earth Day to beautify our streets and keep trash from polluting the James River, our main source of drinking water. There are 20 cleanup sites to choose from! Not sure where to go? Meet us at 3055 Lawson Street (the parklet on Broad Rock & Lawson). We’ll give you an assigned area.

As a thank you for all your hard work, lunch is on us! We’re hosting a community cookout in Swansboro after the morning cleanup event.

This event is hosted by Southside ReLeaf, the Seeds of Change Organization, and the Swansboro West Civic Association.

Southside Clean City Representatives are hosting the ItAllFlowsToTheRiver Southside Neighborhood Cleanup on September 10th to kick off James River Week! Picking up litter is one of the easiest improvements anyone can make in their local environment. In addition to being unsightly, litter ultimately moves through a local watershed and ends up in our waterways. We'll be meeting at the Biggs Road Community Garden, 5518 Biggs Road, at 9AM.
